Bruno was rescued from an abusive family as a puppy and then made his way into the safety of our rescue. He can be a little shy during a first meeting but warms up quite quickly and is super affectionate and loving once he knows he is safe around you. Bruno warms up very nicely with women but is a little more hesitant around men due to his past experiences (not at all aggressive or nippy, just runs away). However, even with that past trauma, he has made such good progress in his foster home in just a few short days and will now happily go up to his foster dad for pets. Bruno is super cuddly and likes to cozy up to his foster mom on the couch after a fun day. He is crate trained and potty trained (other than a few instances of submissive peeing when startled, which hasn't happened since he's gotten more comfortable and will entirely resolve with time and confidence). Bruno loves playing with other dogs and is great with cats as well. He is food motivated and super smart and is great at recall and paying attention when spoken to.
