Ella was rescued as a stray in the Rio Grande Valley area of Texas, after she suffered a broken pelvis and skin lacerations from being hit by a car. She has since fully recovered with medical care and a safe foster home.​

Ella is an energetic, happy, and affectionate pup who loves to spend time outside and car rides (especially since she knows those rides typically are to get pup cups!). She adores kids and cats, and while she can be a little shy meeting adults and other dogs, once she's comfortable, her personality really comes out as a playful bouncy little dog! Now that she's healed, Ella is enjoying longer walks more activity, which is helping her become more confident as well. Ella would love to join a family that has kids and/or another pup, as she used to love running and playing with her siblings when they were found together.
