Gracie and her siblings were rescued from a 30+ dog hoarding case in North Texas
Gracie started off very timid like all the others but her confidence has grown so much since being care for in her foster family. She has mastered the doggy door and is crate trained. She likes balls with squeaker though she does not (yet) know how to fetch.
Gracie is good with kids and plays well with others dog but if the dog is too submissive, she will take charge. She also has a pretty strong prey drive and is not good with birds or small animals, so we’re guessing no cats either. She has tolerated a bath but is too squirmy for a nail trim yet and continues to do well on leash. She has become over confident now and we must now work on training her not to jump to greet everyone! She is very sweet and will allow pets from her foster family and will bounce from couch to dog beds to floor with great speed and enthusiasm.
She would do best in an active home with at least one other younger, confident dog she can play with and continue to learn and grow with.
