Walter and his siblings were rescued from a 30+ dog hoarding case in North Texas

Walt is so gentle, sweet, affectionate and playful! He is still shy in new situations and with new people but has made so much progress and is kind to everyone he meets. He's learned to walk on a leash and has been doing so well on his walks (loose, not really reactive to alot of thing, redirects easily) and looks forward to 2x a day walks; has really discovered the toy box (😂); and most importantly, comes to his to seek out pets and affection!! He has not had an accident inside the house and has learned to sleep in a crate at night with (very) minimal whining. He is also continuing to play well with others and is still great with the kitties. 

Being a puppy, he does have his mischievous side. He has a good nose and knows where the treat drawers are and LOVES to pick stuff up from surfaces he can reach (shoes, remotes, wallets haha). He is a tall boy and has started to counter surf; he is also a chewer, which has been very manageable with bully sticks. He redirects very well with verbal cues so far when he’s doing something he shouldn’t be!
